8.5" x 11" Size. Shrink Plastic is ideal for jewelry, luggage or gift tags, key chains, book marks, holiday ornaments, magnets, or for decorating handmade picture frames and greeting cards. Bake your art and watch it shrink before your eyes! For use with permanent markers, colored pencils, acrylic paint, heat-set inks or any permanent ink. Shrinks to a thick, hard plastic, 1/2 - 1/3 its original length/width.
It's ideal to use permanent markers, waterbased acrylic paints or heat set inks on these. If you want to use color pencil or if you want to rubber stamp, sand the film first with a 300-400 grit sandpaper.
Place on a medium weight cardboard, teflon sheet, parchment paper or vellum. (Do not bake on bare metal or stoneware)
Cover the piece with parchment paper or vellum to keep film from sticking to itself when curling. (when you bake)
Bake in regular or toaster oven for approximately 2 -3 minutes.
Do not remove from oven until piece is flat. (The piece will cirl before it flattens)
If still slightly curled after 2-3 minutes in the oven, remove the piece, then flatten with a spatula
You may also try to use an embossing tool to heat it.
